Integrity Fishing Tournament

Controlled prototype

THE IDEA, AT A GLANCE

Capture the catch. Verify the result. Keep the competition fair.

A mobile-friendly tournament workflow that brings catch submissions, marshal review, and approved standings together. Submitted photographs and decision records support fair competition, with optional experimental vision tools to assist official review.

PROJECT ACCESS

Your next step.

The app launch link activates after a verified live release. Launch monitoring is already scheduled.

Guided project experience

Availability is shown as it is verified. An operating control appears only when a supported connection exists.

CAPTURE THE CATCH. KEEP THE TRUST.

More time fishing.
A clearer result.

Integrity brings catch submissions, official review, and tournament standings into a mobile-friendly workflow. Anglers document the catch; marshals verify the result; everyone follows the same rules.

App launch pending

The app link will be added after a live release is verified.

  1. 01

    Capture with context

Follow the event’s capture profile. Board-based entries show the full fish, nose stop, tail, scale, markers, and event token. Release-only profiles keep the fish in the water.

  2. 02

    Send to the marshal

Submit the catch photo and details to the review queue. Upload receipt and scoring approval are separate steps.

  3. 03

    Verify the result

The marshal records the official length and decision. Questions can be escalated for a second review.

  4. 04

    Update the standings

Approved or adjusted official results feed the leaderboard. Pending submissions do not count.

FAIR PLAY, WITH EXPLAINABLE CHECKS

Give deception fewer places to hide.

The strongest review combines the submitted evidence, event rules, and an accountable official. Software can flag questions worth checking; a flag is never proof that an angler cheated.

CURRENT CONTROL

Submitted-file integrity

A SHA-256 fingerprint records the submitted photo’s bytes. An exact match can flag a reused file for review. This is an integrity check, not AI, and it cannot prove when a fish was caught. The hash covers the uploaded file; large photos may be compressed before upload.

CURRENT WORKFLOW

Board and event context

Guided capture asks for the full fish and the assigned board or token. Officials can compare the photo with the submitted details while retaining a record of their decisions.

EXPERIMENTAL · DEFAULT OFF

Similar-photo comparison

An experimental image fingerprint compares the overall appearance of submitted photographs and flags similarity for review. It is a perceptual image-hash method, not a validated fish-identity or deception model. A similar photograph does not establish that the same fish was submitted twice.

EXPERIMENTAL · DEFAULT OFF

Board-measurement assistance

The trial uses four board markers to account for camera perspective, then estimates length from a detected image silhouette and the known scale. It supplies an estimate and review context to the marshal. Testing uses synthetic boards; field accuracy has not been established.

MEASUREMENT THAT CAN BE CHECKED

The board is the reference.
The marshal makes it official.

THE REFERENCE

A clear board photograph

Full fish · visible nose stop and tail · readable scale · known calibration markers

OPTIONAL EXPERIMENTAL ASSISTANCE

Estimate with context

Map image positions to the board’s known dimensions. Retain the measurement overlay and calibration reference.

QUALITY REVIEW

Show uncertainty

Flag blur, obscured endpoints, missing markers, and unsuitable camera angles. Avoid false precision.

OFFICIAL DECISION

Marshal-verified length

Experimental vision estimates are advisory. The marshal checks the submitted photo, enters the official result, and records a reason for adjustments or rejection.

Accurate automated measurement requires known board dimensions and validation against independently measured catches. No measurement-accuracy rate is claimed. The default platform switches are off; organizers can enable supervised tournament trials. These options do not approve, reject, or score catches.

Prepare first. Handle thoughtfully.

Have the camera and any required board ready before handling the fish. Follow the event’s species-specific handling and release rules, and keep capture brief. Release-only profiles keep fish in the water and do not require board measurement. Do not prolong handling to satisfy a camera indicator or repeat a failed estimate; send uncertainty to the marshal.

FROM VERIFIED RESULT TO LEADERBOARD

Fast updates.
A human decision first.

The current code refreshes the leaderboard every three seconds and supports event-triggered refresh when the realtime connection is configured. Once the marshal’s decision is saved and the page receives the update, the official result appears in the standings.

This is designed for near-live updates after approval. It is not an instant score at upload, and connectivity can delay delivery. Hosted tournament readiness and a public app address have not yet been verified.

01

The purpose

Make catch review and standings more consistent and traceable.

02

Leadership in practice

Set a fair standard and explain it. Give participants understandable expectations, officials reviewable records, and organizers a constructive way to resolve questions.

03

The bigger ambition

Support fair, practical fishing-tournament administration.

04

What comes next

Verify the hosted release and real-device capture, then field-test optional board measurement and similar-photo comparison. Platform switches default to off; supervised tournament trials remain advisory, and marshals control official results.

WHERE THE PROJECT STANDS

Progress you can assess.

A submission stays pending until reviewed. Image integrity does not by itself establish catch authenticity; automated matching remains experimental.

Project goals describe the direction of development. A prototype is an early test version; synthetic demonstrations use fictional material. The interactive exhibition demonstrates selected workflows with fictional records. Separate operational applications retain their own access and deployment requirements.

THE PROJECT FOLDER

Keep the work
moving forward.

Strong ideas grow through clear records, honest questions, and a team that learns together. Keep this project’s supporting work close to its purpose.
